Hartz UltraGuard Plus Flea and Tick Home Spray protects your household by killing fleas, flea eggs, and brown dog ticks on contact. The spray is designed to work on carpets, rugs, upholstery and pet bedding and leaves no lingering odor, sticky mess or stains. One treatment works against pre adult fleas for seven months.

Apply this product only as specified on this label. Do not contaminate food or feedstuffs. This product is for indoor use only.

Except when applying as a directed spray to kill fleas and Brown Dog ticks, do not allow adults, children, or pets to enter the treated area until sprays have dried. Except when applying as a directed spray to kill fleas and Brown Dog ticks, do not apply this product in a way that will contact adults, children or pets, either directly or through drift. Do not apply directly into sewers or drains, or to any area like a gutter where drainage to sewers, storm drains, water bodies, or aquatic habitat can occur. Do not allow this product to enter any drain before or after application. Remove pets, birds and cover fish aquariums before spraying.

Hartz® UltraGuard Plus® Flea & Tick Home Spray can be used in homes, garages, attics, apartments, and hotels to kill fleas and Brown Dog ticks. One bottle will treat a surface area up to 500 square feet. A fine spray applied uniformly is all that is necessary to kill fleas. Avoid wetting furniture and carpeting. Remove birds and cover aquariums before spraying.
For maximum effectiveness treat entire carpeted area. Treat carpets, rugs, drapes and all surfaces of upholstered furniture. Pet bedding should be allowed to dry completely before pets return to their bedding area. Leave treated areas and do not return for at least one hour. Retreat as necessary. Avoid contamination of food and food stuffs. To kill Brown Dog ticks in the environment, spray product directly on pests.
HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS
CAUTION: Harmful if absorbed through the skin. Causes eye irritation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet.
This product is highly toxic to aquatic organisms, including fish and invertebrates. Do not apply directly to or near water. Drift and run-off may be hazardous to fish in water adjacent to treated areas. Do not contaminate water when cleaning equipment or disposing of equipment wash-waters or rinsate. See Directions for Use for additional precautions and requirements.
If in eyes: • Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. • Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. • Call a poison control center, doctor, or 1-800-222-1222 immediately for treatment advice. If on skin: • Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15 - 20 minutes. • Call a poison control center, doctor, or 1-800-222-1222 immediately for treatment advice.
Have the product container or label with you when calling a poison control center, doctor or veterinarian, or going for treatment. Storage and Disposal
Pesticide Storage: Store in a cool, dry place that is inaccessible to children.
Pesticide Disposal: Wastes resulting from the use of this product may be disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility.
Container Disposal: If empty: Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Offer for recycling, if available. If partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.
